I added a few platys to my tank last week and now I have white spot/ick effecting several ofm my fish. Whish realy sucks as I had started to add aquarium salt to my tnk yesterday only to see the ick today....

I would Like to do the 80ish degreen + high salt treatment on my tank to treat it but am concerned for my electric blue lobsters saftey with the increased salinity of the water. so the questions are.

1. will the increased salinity harm my lobsters?
2. If I remove them to my 29 gallon ( thankfully grabbed a new filter for it and an extra heater this weekend as the male was getting his own tank!) can they ever be moved back with out bringing the illness back with them.
3. If I do this treatment will it have adverse effects on any of my tanks other occupants consisting of
Mystery snails(worried about them with salt)
Fancy guppies
Platys
dalmation mollies
Tetras
Ghost shrimp
we also have quite a lot of fry from guppys and mollies in the tank do I need to take any special consideration for them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated I will check back soon gonna get the 29 running and ready to go for the lobsters.
