White Spot On Rayne

ok there is this white spot on the new fishy

i just want to note i still don't know if this is a boy or girl, some have said boy others said girl, i say shims and idiot, cute sweet but still a moron. Rayne is about 1.5 inchs and doesn't flare, shim makes some bubbles but not alot, and no where close to a nest. shims favorite thing to do is ram nose into glass repeatily trying to kill my can of gingerale, and wedging itself in the plants and getting stuck, then wiggles free again. hence the moron thing.

you can see the little white spot right by the dangling things

again you can clearly see the white spot on her.

please help i am not sure what that white stuff is. my instinct is that it is an egg spot, but if she is a he then that would make no sence.

it is an egg spot, not anything to worry about, but many young males have these too, so not a definate sign of a female

p.s the dangling things are called ventrals

the fish doesn't flare at all, it rams its nose into the glass, but doesn't flare.
it is only 1.5 inches, is if just to small to have the capablity to flare, or is it just a moron?
