I've got a male betta in a baby biOrb and I believe he has got white spot. He's rubbing himself on ornaments (or atleast he was). Yesterday I changed the filter cartridge to a first aid one and added the contents of one of the sachets but I don't think thats going to enough to treat him. I have got some interpet no6 white spot plus. Should I add some of that and do I need to do a major water change to get rid of the sachet stuff?
Any help really appreciated as he is just resting near the surface and I don't want to loose him. x

my biorb had the same problem 2 or 3 months after i set it up... i just ran a course of the interpet stuff which worked - lost about 6 fish though :(

i wouldn't do a water change you'll only stress the fish out even more.

i didn't bother with the first aid filter.

Increase aeration with the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Turn temp up to 30.
Good luck.
