My pepper corys have white spot. :( Will the treament for this affect my two aquatic frogs.
Any suggestions for the best way to treat this? Sorry I forgot, I have two golden apple snails as well.
Tank size:20 gallons uk
pH:6.4 wondering if adding the frogs who like to hide and will be camping in the
ammonia:? corys usual spot will be stressing the corys out. should i add additional
nitrite:0 hidey holes to relieve stress or just remove frogs completely.
nitrate:10 - 25mg/l
kH:0 - 3 d
gH:left pointing arrow3d
tank temp:28degrees C

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
white spot, very small spots
Volume and Frequency of water changes:
quarter tank twice weekly this is because i have 4 platy fry that are 2-4 weeks old
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:stresszyme added yesterday when i added the two aquatic frogs

Tank inhabitants:
3 pepper corys, 4 platys 3f n 1m n 4 fry, 10 neons, 2 golden apple snails, 2 aquatic frogs
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):

Hi welcome to the forum,

You will need to remove the frogs and snails while you treat the fish they don't do well with meds. If you have no other place to put them you can float a container in the main tank to keep them seperate while keeping them warm. Remember to add a lid with air holes or they will most likely climb out.

Alternatively if you have a warm room, buy a critter keeper and they will be fine with no filter and heater for a couple of weeks so long as they have a constant temp they can cope with cooler water than tropical fish.
