Hi,

1 month ago, i have notice a light, very faint whitish area on my croaking(not sure if its sparkling or croaking lol) gourami, and i thought it was just the colouring or got scratched, so i didnt really pay attention to it. 2 days ago, i have noticed that area/spot has became more white, and increased in area (just by a bit). The fish seems fine, hes swimming and eating and shows no sign of illness. Does anyone have any suggestion what that white area would be it might be?. The area is about this long | | on the fish (it could be a bit smaller, but my estimation is bad)

Ammonia and nitrite lvl is 0
I dont have a nitrate kit, and hope to get one soon.

Thank You

The white area can be bacterial to parasite.
If no signs of flicking and rubbing I would treat it as bacterial.
Take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.

good points :good:
White spot is pretty easily taken care of if it gets treated sooner rather than later.
Just get some medication, but always read the instructions
