White Spot And Worse?

I completed cycling on my tank about 2 weeks ago so all my fish are new. I took my time with cycling so it was frustrating to discover that my tank has white spot already and maybe other diseases.
In the last week, I noticed some white spots on my Bosemani's Fins. Since then the white spots have appeared mostly over the two plecs and one of the Blue Rams, but all fish have a few (except the gourami I think). I've lost two hatchet fish, six neon tetras, and a few more tetras are not looking good today (not schooling, discoloration). Also just today I began to notice some ragged fins on the tetras. One of the hatchet fish was found dead with some cotton wool-like growths coming out of its stomach.

So I started white spot treatment the day after I noticed those few spots (it's been 4 days) with "Jungle Ick Guard." I've vacuumed the gravel several times, removed carbon from my filter, and have been adding the recommended daily dosages. But instead of getting better it seems like things are getting worse.. two of the tetras were dead yesterday, one is dead today, and two others don't look good.

I'm afraid I have a mix of illnesses now, and I don't know what to do to treat everything. Please help me!

Tank size: 48 Gallons
pH: 6.8
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 10
tank temp: currently 81F (higher than normal for white spot treatment)

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 20% weekly, but I've been doing smaller ones the last few days because the medicine said to do a water change before each dose.

Tank inhabitants:
10 neon tetras
4 hatchet fish
2 Rubber nose plecs
2 Blue Rams
1 Bosemani Rainbow
1 Blue Gourami

Finrot common on top of whitespot.
It can take two rounds to get rid of whitespot.
Sadly once if affects the gills there never seem to make it.
Have you increased aeration with the high temp and med.

Yes, I've added aquarium salt. Anything else I should do?

The directions on the Ick Guard say there is no need to raise temperature, and I've read that a high temperature makes fin rot worse. So I think I'm probably going to put the temp back down to normal. Is this a good idea?

I would leave the temp as whitespot can be a fast killer.
The med should help with the finrot.
