White Spot And Melafix?

Hi....need some info....Can Melafix be used at the same time as treatment for white spot?
Just trying to find out some info for a friend wh has a Black skirt tetra that appears to have lost it's tail....and a case of white spot in the tank!
Should they seperate the injured BST and treat it individually?

You can use pimafix with parasite meds but not sure about melafix.

Finrot common on top of whitespot. Sometimes the whitespot med helps as it has antiseptic in it.

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Is the fish struggling to swim with losing its tail.

Don't know the person very well [online friend!]....
The fish had lost it's tail before the ich out break, she's was more worried about infection setting in, that's why I suggested the Melafix to her.
I'm thinking of suggesting...water change, Melafix, up her temp and extra airation ?

Melafix is only good once fins are healing.
The only whitespot med in the uk you can mix bacterial meds with is esha exit and esha 2000.
