Hey guys.

just started a new planted tank, (90L) with CO2 injection. however have noticed within 4-5 days, white precipitate on leaves in the tank. pH seems to vary drastically with minor injections of CO2. Do i need to buffer? Know im doing something wrong, dont know what. help is greatly apprecieated.

are you dosing anything? if you are dosing phosphate, and iron at the same time, then it can react and become ferric which forms a white precipitate. it is also little use to plants.

No, just a fertile substrate.
