I've been reading about diseases for days and can't seem to find anything that exactly matches. Some diseases seem to somewhat match but not completely.

The problem:
One guppy got a white patch on it's skin...the patch isn't protruding and isn't Ich or like cauliflower. It looks more like it's in the skin or replacing the skin. Guppy died within a couple of days. Since then, another got it and died within the same time frame. One more died last night and another has it now.

Fish continued to eat well. Fish were still active but less active than before.

Tank Parameters:
29 US Gallon Tank
Gravel substrate
Artificial Plants
One live plant for now
Carbon Filter
Temp usually between 78 and 80, doesn't fluctuate very much
Tank established for more than 3 months and began with already established tank water (this tank was created because fish had to be separated)
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate minimal
Ph 6.8
Inhabitants: Guppies (9 prior to deaths) and 2 Oto Cats
Water changes were minimal (but still completed every so often) because the fish get VERY VERY stressed when I mess with the water at all. However, I did remove the water and the fish and completely clean the substrate of all "crud" including poop, uneaten food, etc. I realize I should change water more regularly but
These parameters had been existing with no issues prior to this problem.

Recently Tried:
AntiFungus treatment by Jungle (I'm hoping this was not a mistake)
Doesn't seem to be helping.

I don't want to over medicate or keep trying things, so I'm asking for advice on what this truly is and what the next step is.
I know I will likely need to set up a quarantine for currently infected fish.

Does the patch look like bleaching beneath the skin.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing
Any redness to the patch.

I actually think I have figured out what it is: Columnaris. I got to digging in another site I used to visit and found what looked just like what my guppies have.

But to answer your questions:
No rubbing
No red in the patch
I guess you could say it looks kinda like bleaching. (I'm not positive if I'm understanding the term correctly).

It's basically like the fish's skin is turning white just below the surface...not a mucus or anything on the outside. It's not lumpy or anything like that.

Bleaching bemeath the skin is columnaris
UlK Myxazin and pimafix.
United States Marcyn one and two.
