One of my neons has white patches on him. I dont have an emergency tank so I treat my whole tank with Melafix for a couple of weeks. He seemed to be almost cured so I stopped but a week later it has come back. I also noticed one of my rams scratching himself 2day but he has no visible marks. Is there anything else I should be treating them with? I have started the melafix again. My temp is 27

The patches on him are they fluffy.
Some meds can make them flick and rub as i irratates them for a while till they get used to it.
Check the gill area for any changes like excess mucas on the gill also being pale in appearance, or red and inflamed.
Stats would be good in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, as bad water quality can make them flick.
