Was cleaning my tank/planting new plants today and have come across a large number of white marks on the inside of my tank. Not sure what it could be and am worried it's some type of fungus? Or could it be marks from where my betta has been chasing his girlfriend around?
Didn't see the pic before, in does look like fungus. clean it off, and keep an eye on the fish to make sure none of it grows on them, i would do some water changes on the tank.
Do the white things wiggle around? If so it looks like you are feeding your fish to much. If they look like they are wiggling then they are from over feeding. Just cut back on your feeding schedule. Remeber that you should only feed your fish enough food that they can eat in a couple minutes.
Nah, they don't move at all! And it easily comes off with the magnet cleaner. So I'm assuming it is a fungus. I do a 10% water change every week. I would've thought that was enough but obviously not The fish aren't affected at all by the white stuff as of yet so I'm hoping it won't cause them a problem
130 litres. I normally do a 50% change every month and like I said the 10% change every week.. I never have any problems that I can see; but I know not seeing problems doesn't mean they're not there!
How many and what percentage water changes would you suggest?
