Hi all.
can anyone please tell me why i am getting white patches on some of my leaves ? its not all over the plant just here and there and mostly at the top of the plant .not sure if you can see what i mean by the picture .i do add ferts to my tank and it has good lighting and co2 .as its only one of two plants that i have in the tank its hard to say if its just a problem with this one plant . the other one is fine .

Looks like a form of nutrient deficiency.

Is that Hygrophila polysperma? It is a good plant for displaying early signs of deficiencies. If you have soft water then it could be a lack of calcium/magnesium, if you have harder water then I would guess at nitrogen (nitrates)?

What are your GH, KH and nitrate levels?
 
Hi my KH is 7 and my nitrate is at 30 .sorry i dont have a GH kit .not sure what the name of that plant is .all i can tell ya is it grows very big and very fast
