So I did a water change last night, put in everything I should and put in aquarium salt and now I have this white foam that covers the surface. I thought I saw a post about this but don't see it, any ideas?

Thanks

Hi neon_platys, that white foam could be protien. That is fish waste. You might want to skim it off the surface of your tank. It contributes to the ammonia in your tank. People who keep marine fish use a protein skimmer to get rid of that white foam.

It can also be from the salt you add. Try desolving the salt in water before you add it into the tank.
