White Eye!

My mothers large koi has a white spot on his right eye! I know he needs medicine but whats wrong with him and what medicine do you get?

Is he in a pond.
Does the spot look like a grain of salt or bigger.
Does it look like a white spec.
Any signs of the fish darting about, rubbing intself on things.
