White Cobweb Like Stuff Growing In My Tank ! Added Pic

I had put 2 rocks in my tank a week ago and it started growing white stringy stuff and it turned into like jelly, like snot.

I removed the rocks. Next day I see a bit of it growing on the glass so I removed it.

NOW I look and it is growing all over EVERYTHING !

It looks like spiderweb kinda. It is white, stringy like hair, and floaty.

Anyone know what this is ???

Do you have any snails in the tank?

Currently only 2 Yellow Lab Cichlids. I recently re-homed the fish that were in there and added the Labs. I will see if the camera picks it up.

LOL....It's the top of a plastic plant. Not sharp or anything. I had to crop the pic to see it well.

ive had this stuff before .. not sure wat it is but i got rid of mine by doing 50 percent wc and then removing the stuff by hand ... when the tank is half full

I have it in my new Discus tank too (very small amount though)! No idea what it is, I am not sure if it may have to do with the tank not being properly cycled? At this point I don't think mine is, but I make up for it with water changes. I know for a fact it isn't snails in my tank, as its bare bottom and only Discus.

The tank isn't cycling. I'm pretty sure it came in with the rock. I'm wondering whether it is fungus or algae.
