Hi everyone!
I know I posted before on this topic somewhere, but...
I have 2 gravid females, one isn't any more and the other one still is...she is huge. How long can she hold on to these eggs? I am having a sympathetic backache ????

She could be egg bound. Do you have a male? Usually they will absorb the eggs but at times they get bound. Some have applied pressure to get them out but not me. You may want to Google it. I hope she drops them.

Oooo, don't think I could do that, either.
It seems like she will swim over near the males, and even seems to like one of them, and then she will go up into the plants, but the Male can't ever get alone time. There are 2f 4m, unfortunately. The other did fine.
Maybe tomorrow her belly will be smaller and wrinkly-saggy, which is what happens I have noticed with my minnows. These 6 I have now are from fish that I've had for at least a year. I moved some hornwort plants deom one tank to another and there they were! Tiny fry I moved into their own separate tank.

I am worried because some of the parents have what I think are internal parasites, the females seem the worse or only ones affected, and I have been treating them for a while. I also have been treating three remaining CPDs that shared their tank for a while. I started with 5 and lost 2 to whatever this is. The sickness started with them.

I got clove oil just in case but the minnows and 1 CPD are still alive. Is there a chance she could have gotten this from the parents?

I dont see white poop...
