Since it is a fish that is dismissed often and doesnt deserve it, let me share my beauties
They are over two years old, no light, no heater tank and ofcourse, obviously males have the best colors

They are not a small tank fish, even 50 liters are too little for them I think, the tank above is 75 liters, I even had them 150liters, they utilize the whole space

They also school with normal colored WMCC without issues.

And they are super easy to target breed!

I do have WCMMs as well. To a lot of people they´re just simple fish but to me they have this certain charm... But I myself prefer the wild color instead of the gold version.
Especially, when the males start to flare their fins, it´s a beautiful sight...

I have those too and can't decide which I like more. I somehow have a long finned male of the natural color who has deep red fins and he is simply stunning

I prefer the short finned version as in the wild instead of the long finned ones. But that's just a personal preference.
