White Chalky Patch

one of my female buenos aires tetras just around the forehead has a white discoloration around the face. it's not fuzzy like columnaris or even portruding or sinking in at all, it looks more like some sort of scar. Is this a symptom of any diseases, or is it just a scar on the face of sorts? I'll try to get some pictures soon, but you know how fish like to move...

Of course, nitrates 20 nitrites 0 ammonia 0

My two platys had marks that sound like these on their backs yesterday but it's gone off one of them today.
