Is your tank officially cycled?
What are your water stats?
How long has the tank been setup?

What size is your tank?
How many fish and what types are in it?

How often do you do water changes?

My tank is 160L and hasn't officially cycled yet. The fish have been in for just under 3 weeks and I haven't performed a water change yet. I ahev been adding stress coat weekly to the tank.

I have 4 angels, 2 sharks, 2 rainbows, 2 gouramis and 2 catfish in the tank

pH 7.0, Ammonia 0.03ppm , Nitrite 1.6ppm and Nitrate 0.90ppm

Did A 20% water change today and the white spots are coming back. Fish are a lot healthier though.

The spots are only appearing in the corners where the glass is joined could it be something to do with the glue etc that is used to seal?

I only use a water conditioner when actually changing water, and wouldn't advise it any other time.
You did right on the recent water change, but keep your eyes on the P.H of the tank, as my tank tends to crash a little just after.
You my find it more beneficial to add something like filter start to the filter to help finish off any cycling probs instead of the stress coat, as it helped me a lot at the beginning.
My 180L has taken just over 3 months to cycle and it is now that everything has started to settle.
Don't be tempted to over do it on water changes either, I think for a tank that size every 2 weeks is plenty once your tank has properly cycled, and only start off changing small amounts, 10-15% is plenty.
