I have white looking algae on the sides of my aquarium that the BNes wont eat. Why wont they eat it, and is it healthy?

can you describe it in more detail? more often than not white growths inside your tank are either deposits of some sort or fungus, not algae.

Also, are you sure it is on the inside of your tank wall and not on the outside? Evaporating tank water on the outside from a drip or two will look white from the calcium deposits

It is definatly one the inside, they are thousands of dots spread across the inside of the tank...

sounds like fungus to me... not 100% sure how to treat it though so I dont want to give bad advice. perhaps ask specifically for how to treat for white fungus here or at your LFS.
