Whit Spots Like Sand

Hi i was just wondering what the white sand like spots were on some fish as a few people have been talking about it Please can somone let me know what it is and how to treat them if it happens to any of my fish

Whitespot is also known as ich. Depending where you live, you can use many different medications.

It is generally easy to treat it caught early. Hope ya never have to deal with it.

Thanks for that I hope i never have to deal with it either sounds a bit bad Say I did get it would i have to remove the fish that had it from the other to treat or can you treat while there still in the tank with others?

Usually it is just best to treat the whole tank as if you read the one link i posted. It explains the life stages of ich. So it is best to try and just treat the whole tank, that way it should kill the rest of the disease off.
