Which Type Of Tropical For A 80 Litre Tank

hi. well ive found a good tank, a juwel rekord 80. being completely new to aquariums, i need to know wheather i owuld be better off with normal tropical fish or sichlid. if possible why?

i would go with a community setup just now, because you are new to fish, this would be the easier option. pluss there is a much wider choice of fish to choose from.

cichlids are harder to look after, they arent hardy like other fish. and it has to be a spieces tank.

im not saying you couldnt look after cichlids, but i would go for the tropical fish.

If you are a beginner tropical fish might just be easier in some respects. They are more hardy then cichilds. Also cichlids need some more different requirements.

However good luck with which ever you choose.

if you are going to be using tap water from your house for your aquarium i would test your water parameters and then go with stocking your tank with fish that is suited for your kind of water. save you alote of trouble. just a thought
