Get the record 60/70 while still available. Apparently, these two Juwel tanks are about to be discontinued. Big mistake by Juwel IMO, as these are amongst their best sellers in the shop I work at. The filter in the Record 70 is the same as the 98's, and I ran a Record 98 for about 5 years without issues. That tank is still running with a friend will all origional gear. The new Juwel 98 upgrade has a poor filter, and their "upgrade" probibly ruined the 60/70 filter system aswell, though I have not yet seen them... They removed all the surface area from the filter and that will make them higher maintanance...

Spares will continue to be made for the record 70 at least, as those parts also run on the 98 that will continue to be produced apparently. I should point out that the discontinuation of the record 60/70 is a trade rumour, stired by a letter from their UK dealer, rather than fully anounced withdrawal by Juwel. The discontinuation could just he the UK, or could be not happening, or could be a full line discontinuation. No real detail has come out yet, just a roumour stirer...

Wouldn't bother with the smaller Aqua-ones, unless you want to buy new filters for it... They mostly come with UGF or in-hood filters, both of which are a bit poor IMO.

Not shure what Fluval offer in that size range...

All the best
