Which Sex ?

came home recently to find eggs on filter box but they never fertilized , just wondering if anybody could tell if i have a true pair ?

Well the black and white is definitely the female judging from the thick breeding tube. The white one's breeding apparatus is minimal. My male's.... what do you call it, surely not a breeding tube.... anyway his breeding apparatus is pointy and about half the thickness of the female's tube. Also it only pops out a couple hours before she deposits eggs and recedes quickly. My female's breeding tube becomes apparent 2 days before egg laying. And she is always noticeably plump. If it is a pair, don't worry, they will spawn again. Mine are on a two week schedule. Sounds exhausting.

Could be 2 females there mate but Angels are not my speciality.

could well be 2 females. it is known for 2 female angels to spawn in exactly the same way male and female fish would but for obvious reasons the eggs arent fertile. looking at the batch of eggs and seeing that all seem infertile i would say either 2 females or a male and female that arent mature enough yet.

how big are they?
