hi im setting up a 240ltr tank soon and want to go for the "tree" effect,i have some branchy red moore wood and want to know what plant/moss should i use to get the tree look? i have no idea about plants and tend to put them in and see what survives! 2x36watt (i think)t5 bulbs no co2 weekly dose of easy life pro fito and easy carbo,i know im supposed to dose easy carbo every day but i never remember until water change day  thanks

ok that i can keep alive :good: is there anything with bigger leaves? other than anubias which is not the right look, thanks

I suppose it depends on the type of "tree" that you're trying to replicate, but I think Anubias leaves will be too big to create the right effect...

U might be able to combine Anubias/Java Fern with a moss. U could always prun off the larger leaves to keep them small. I've not seen it done tho.

congo fern is nice and is a rihzome plant there are also several different variations of java fern so you dont have to stick with the regular type windelov is very nice and quite unusual

java moss and flourish excel looks like a winner :good: thanks for help theres a slight hiccup as i have now cancelled new tank because im not sure my sideboard would take weight,at least this means i can move sideboard and get big tank (400-500ltrs)im so excited!! :hyper:
