So i just received this new tank, as i already have one running now. This tank is 26 gallons tall, I have had it running for a little over a week now with several live plants. I am currently struggling on which fish to get because every website tells me something different, i want a community tank.
I know that i will start out with 6 or 7 Zebra Danios, and i am debating whether to get Platys, Mollies, or Swordtails, and eventually some corys.
I want a peaceful yet active aquarium, do these fish get along, which ones should i put in or leave out, and if so how many?

Thank You so much!

i have platys, mollies and corys int he same tank and they seem to be fine.

corys are bottom dwellers so there out of the way most of the time. my platys and mollies seem to get along fine almost schooling together at some points.

Id definately get some Sterbai or Julii cories. Amazing fish, very active yet peaceful. Instead of the mollies, platties and the swordtail, id rather add a pair of centre piece fish of a type of gourami or blue ram.

I don't recommend Mollies. Though some of my Mollies have been peaceful the vast majorities of them have been bullies to the other fish in the tank. Platy's are wonderful fish, they're much more peaceful and in my opinion not a dominating, and they come in just as striking colors, they do bes in a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio of Males to females, like most Live bearers.
As for Cory's they're a great fish, they like to be in groups of about six or so, and it's recommended to get all one type - Such as all peppered or all Panda corys, as they are more likely to school and be happy that way.

If you're looking for center piece fish as joy boy suggests, Gourami are a good choice :) preferably Honey, as they are a little more docile.

A "26 (US) gallons tall" is not fair on zippy Zebra Danios in my opinion, one of the fastest swimmers on a regular basis in the hobby, a 3-foot tank is generally considered the minimum size tank but personally I would never entertain keeping them permanently in anything less than a 4-footer.

When buying Zebra/Leopard Danios, as buyers we really should be looking at a heaterless tank in many homes (providing the temp does not drop for long periods below 18C), which means tankmates need to be comfortable at sub-tropical temps. Such fish include (but is far from exhaustive)...
Rosy Barbs
Paradise Fish
Weather Loach
Peppered Corydoras
Trilineatus Corydoras
Chinese/Green Barbs
