Which nitrAte test kit?

Hi i need to buy a new nitrate test kit and would like your opinions.

The two test kits i will have to choice from are


Aquarium Pharmaceuticals nitrate test kit

and the

Nutrafin Nitrate Test kit.

(link below to show which nutrafin one i mean because i think there is two different ones,liquid drops ands trips)

Does anybody have any experience with these and if soo could they tell me which is easier and more accurate?

Only nitrate test kit I have used is the tetra one.

I have the nutrafin one. my only comment is that the lid doesnt fit the test tube properly so when you shake it up you get toxic goo all over your skin (hydrochloric acid, acetic acid and cadmium...yummy!)

its a bit fiddly (5 drops then 5 drops then 3 drops) and the third bottle tends to separate out over time and you need to stir it up with a pin to make sure it stays accurate....

that sounds like ive totally slated it but im jsut stating what ive noticed, i cant even compare it to other kits cos its the only one ive used, sorry.

I've been using the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals kit and have had no problems. Pretty easy to use: 10 drops bottle one and another 10 from bottle two. Nice little test tube with no problems. You just need to be sure to shake bottle two for 30 seconds before using.
