Which Is The Best?

i been told about alsorts of differant filter for my tank.
just wondered which is the best sort?
iv already got a filter in there but someone said about an under gravel filter to stop me having to vac it out every week, are they any good?? ???

any ideas which be great, just so i know whats what really!!

imo the worst ones you can have are the internal filters such as undergravel filters which also disturb plant roots in a planted aquarium...power filters such as internal power filters ok but external power filters such as an aquaclear are much better...The best filters out there are external canisters (fluval and ehiem)...Just to let you know, no matter what filter you get, it would be safe to stick with regular water changes depending on your stocking levels and type of fish...

it depends on your tank's size, for small ones you can do fine with internal filters but if you have a 200+ liters tank you should better get an external filter (can be blended well in some piece of furniture and doesn't 'steal' from the tank's beauty)
