should i put real plants or fake plants with my dempseys? what would be better safer and better looking

If you really need to have plants in with them...then go with plastic.

1. Dempsey's are diggers and will forever be uprooting the plants.

2. They may also have a tendancy to nibble or out and out eat them.

If I were yoI would simply decorate the tank with rockwork and driftwood.

This would give a more natural look to the tank as well.

I find plastics look stupid after a while, I'd go with the master and save your money by not buying the plastics and buy driftwood/rocks instead.
