Anyone who has dealt with duckweed and knows if a big handful of duckweed or 1,000 duckweeds is better? Which of these will get me more duckweed?

People bought all my duckweed during Christmas for some reason

I always include double or 1.5x the amount in case some of it dies

guess you'll have to count out 1000 duckweed to see how much you get compared to a handful good luck with that

That is probably a good idea just in case you haven't sent them 1000 plants. If you are advertising 1000 duckweed plants and only send someone 999, they can sue you for false advertising. Although most people won't count it and the person would have be a turkey to do so, but there are some out there.

Just make sure they get at least 1000 plants or change the wording to 1 level measuring cup of duckweed that has just been removed from the tank. Or something like that. Or sell it by weight.

A standard fork full of duckweed is around 50
Aka duckweed takes up a very little amount of surface area so handful is worth it more

I am not looking to cover the entire thing immediately, what with how quickly it spreads, but want enough that it'll get a good start, you know?

Yeah if someone orders 300 I can fit in 600 or even 1000

In the amount of time it would take to count 1,000 duckweed, I'm sure it would already be multiplying!
