Which Fish...?

Ok just sittin with the feet up for half an hour watchin the fish play about the tank when I suddenly realised just how pretty the humble Zebra is. I bought a shoal of 10 to zoom around the top layers and they really are great fun (they have a particular fondness to following the magnetic glass cleaner for some reason?) but when you spend a bit of time watching them up close they really are a lovely little fish.

Anyway, what other fish out there do people think may be considered "common" and are probably not appreciated as much as they should be?

I have 5 or 6 of these, and the males are stunning when they display, they literally do a little "jiggle" dance and flare their fins, making their colour stand out

I love to watch them when they do that

also harlequins, they love to play darting around the tank, and when very happy and healthy they shine something wonderful

platys. i have 6 in my tank all different colours and they are great. i never thought i would buy platys but i did and now dont regret it 1 bit.

Penguins are another example, kept in a shoal they can be quite striking.

i dont think i have seen penguins...

with regards to platys, im not usually a big fan of them, but i have some mickey mouse ones, and theyre stunning to look at, but very boring in movement lol, only seem to move when they think its food time and follow you around the tank

dalmation mollies can be fun to watch too, they just follow you around the tank lol

tbh, i love sticking my fingers in the tank and letting them all have a nibble lol
