what would be best fo0r my tank. Its a 55 gallon. 4 foot x 30cm x 45cm. 2 swordies, 2 corys, 2 opaline gourami, 5 zebra danios, 2 common plecs, 1 male gupy. I know the polll might have gone wrong but thia is my first time trying it. comments welcome

Just wanted to point out that according to the aquarium calculator on this site, your tank is not 55 gallons - it is 36 UK gallons or 43 US gallons (120cm x 30cm x 45cm). Unless the calculator is wrong, of course...

Regards - Athena

ps - Sailfin mollies are quite gorgeous and can be found in some really quirky colours - I have two dalmation sailfins and also a Mexican white sailfin.

I Voted for the gourami :D

I've got one male in mine and i love sitting watching him just swim about doing his business really docile fish A Real pleasure to watch

just make sure you have lots of plants as he does like to hide :D

Before i got my plants in my tank he always hid under my unused filter box hardly came out lol

Good luck picking :D

Would a thick lipped be okay with 2 opaline gouramis one male one female. Lucky pick lol. They are getting wuite big now the male is quite a lot bigger than the female. Greedy man lol.

Well cherry barbs are awesome. :)

They also always remind me of Hercule Poirot somehow.

I know it's not on the poll, but Harlequin Rasboras are lovely schooling fish. A large school will look lovely! BTW, the two Common Plecos are going to get too big for that tank.

Yeah, I want to vote for Harlequin Rasboras too...lovely fish.
