Metallic Blue Guppies - £1.85 each or 6 for £10
Red King Cobra Guppies - £1.85 each or 6 for £10
Black Ghost Knife - £9 (these seem to keep shooting toward top of tank)
Koi Angel Fish - £3.95 (Black and White)
Corydoras Jull - £4.95 (Black and White)
Sunset Platty - £1.85 each or 7 for £11 (Black and White)
Leopard Daimod - £1
Neon Tetra - £1.20 each or 10 for £10
India Clown Cat - £6.50
Blue Damsel - £4.99
Blue Star Damsel – £5.99
Yellow Tail Damsel - £4.99
Fiajn Blue and Gold Damsel - £6.99
Yellow Belly Damsel - £4.99
Lemon Damsel - £4.99

Remember my tank is in a wall, and size is 47" length, 30" height and just over 5" depth.... which fish would you recommend?

The angels will have a hard time turning around too. IMO you are limited to fish no longer than 2". Also aren't Damsels saltwater fish?

Damsels are saltwater fish so that isn't going to work. Also, with only 5" of space for them to turn around, you aren't going to want anything larger than 2, maybe 3 inches when fully grown. I'd stick with things like the guppies, tetras, cories, and platties.

5teady, I don't think anyone is gonna lose any sleep over 50p here or there.

Calm down m8, i was just pointing out that im lucky to have my LFS with good prices.

and it was 65p, 85p and 25p to be fair lol :p

buy 300 fish in a year and then tell me you wouldnt lose sleep over it, think of all the kebabs you could of had after a good night out with it  just kidding lol

I am looking for something bright, that will stand out. Bright yellow/red .... I now know that Damsels are salt fish, but is there any similiar i could use?

At the moment im thinking of getting...

Neon Tetra's
Metallic Blue Guppies
Red King Cobra Guppies
Sunset Platty
Leopard Daimod

Will these be ok for the size of tank, and also can they all live with each other?

Thanks

What is a Daimod?

The two colour varieties of guppies will interbreed and give you some very mixed up looking fry. I'd stick with one colour variety.

With that sized tank i would go with

10 neons
3 Male Metalic Blue Guppy
3 Male Red Cobra Guppy
6 Male Platy

I agree on all counts.

Also, even though the tank is about 30 gallons, I would keep the stock level low as despite the volume, you have very little surface area for oxygen exchange. You only have 235 square inches of surface area which is less than a standard 15 gallon tank (288 sq in). If you go with guppies and other liverbearers, do as Davo86 mentioned and stay will all males. You don't want a population explosion in that tank.
