Hi All

I am still trying to get my plants to grow and stay alive, I have now replaced 2 bulbs that were not for plants with 2 freshwater bulbs. I have also added a couple of root tabs, so these may help.

I will also start adding osmosis water to make it slightly softer

I have on order a sohting carbonator that is for tanks upto 250 will also use a spare nutrafin CO2 unit

At the moment I am using a all in one fertilizer from nutrafin but as I have a pretty large tank only lasts a little while.

Is there any fertilizer that people are using that is cost effective as well as not having to add every day, probably looking at something to add every week.

Thanks
Dave

Yes. The fert that came w/ the nutrafin c02 kit isn't really that effective. It lacks potassium (K). However this site has great ferts. Look down all the way and get the Flourish one and if you have money Flourish excel as well. Here's the link: http://www.gregwatson.com/SeachemFertilizers.asp
