In the comunity tank #1, there would be:
2 angel fish
3 peacock spiney eels
1 elephant nose
1 black ghost knife
5 yoyo loaches
2 rams
1 parrot fish

In the oscar tank, there would be:
1 oscar
1 red tailed shark
1 pleco

In the comunity tank #2, there would be:
5 black skirt tetras
5 neon tetras
5 long fined leopard danios
7 corydoras
5 yoyo loaches
1 female betta
3 platys
3 honey gouramis
1 clown pleco
3 oto catfish

so any opinions? :)

When ever i see a picture of an oscar i just want one so bad! But then I think I can have more fish without the oscar, so i jus cant make up my mind. so which ever wins will be my choice!

Hi halfbloodprincess :)

I voted for the #2 community because it has corys and because I prefer to have a lot of small fish rather than just a few big ones. :D

Tough desicion... do you have any other tanks? If you have another community tank, I'd go Oscar. I have two community tank and would love to get an Oscar tank if I had the money and room. :D

edit: Oooh!! It would be so cool if you had just an Oscar and a black ghost knife fish! I don't know if they get along though.

ooo that would be cool! Hmmmm :shifty: maybe I will choose that. I am still not sure! I do have another comunity tank though. I know how you feel, i love oscars and would love to have one!

#2 sounds a lot like my general plan for my 65g.

I prefer to see schools of smaller fish rather than a few larger fish.

I voted community 1, allthough an oscar would be better if you have allready got a community tank. In your 75g, you couldnt have an oscar and a BGK, and you could only have the shark and plec, if you have very good filteration...What plec are you talking about anyway???

Turn all of those to 7 and I'll vote on it. I know for sure most tetra need 6+

Well I am not sure yet. What would be best?

Yes that would work better wouldnt it.

I would go with the oscar but would make sure the tank is a 75 gallon wide and not long style. This would give him more turning room and make sure he is comfortable into older age. But ideally I would keep him in a 100G or bigger with a couple other fish

EDIT: O....P.S. I don't like tetras or angels, so I might do those other communities if you take those out

Would have to be community tank #2 for me, soley due to the fact you have listed Corys as one of your stocking possibilities. ;)
