So I'll finally be setting up my pressurized co2 system this weekend on my 75 US gallon tank. I bought my regulator as part of a kit that also came with a ceramic diffuser. I also have a couple ladder diffusers from my Hagen DIY kits.

With the ladder diffusers it seems that a lot of the CO2 bubbles are wasted as by the time they get to the top of the ladder they are still pretty big. The ceramic diffusers, from what I've read, make some tiny bubbles that are usually almost completely absorbed into the water column.

What I'm trying to decide is which of the two diffusers I have would be the best bet for my 75 gallon tank as it's a fairly large tank. The ceramic diffuser may be a little small but the ladder diffuser may waste some CO2.

What do you guys think?

Got my Spiral Co2 diffusor off ebay for under 20 bucks. Its a glass bell shape design that has a spiral under the disk to allow for bubble counting. been using for a month now and it works great.
