i have a baby bala and a hell load of livebearers(platies mollies etc.)

i was thinking electric yellow

any advice would be appreciated

nope, none, all africans, even kribs are to aggresive for those fish, you didnt say i you had guppies, But ETc, so iassume you do.

some questions though
1. what size tank, I hope it is a 75 plus for the bala
2. what PH?
3. How many of each fish

Those will help to see if you will be able to have a dwarf NW in your tank

The only Africans that are possible in a community tank are Kribs. Most are way too agressive, including Yellow labs, sorry. :/

Kribs are still agressive fish so do some research if you are considering them but they can and are kept in community tanks.

Your best bet if you want cichlids are Blue Rams (if your tank is big enough) they are pretty peaceful, we have 4 in our community tank. They are only small and are really beautiful

Loaf
:D

I agree blue/gold rams are very good, they are small to wnt grow any bigger than 2".

i have a 55g tank
i think i'll put in both rams and kribs
do rams breed easily?

thanx eveyone
