Fairly new to all of this and I am interested in buying a book, lots of colourful pictures of fish, plants and aquarium designs are a must. Any suggestions which book would be best?

Hi Marve :)

What is it you're mostly looking for? Books to get inspired from or books for info?

I recently went into Borders and saw the following book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Setting-Tropical-A...7931&sr=1-1
which I quite liked the look of. It's a good beginner book, although mostly about setting up the tank.

In terms of aquarium designs, I really want to get hold of a photo books with Takashi Amano's planted tanks but these books are really expensive!

:)

Its inspiration primarily, landscaping and planting my current tank, but also stocking ideas/compatability etc.

My wife has offered to buy me a book with the nectar points she has accumilated (at least some good has come from the excessive shopping), and had seen this same book, so good to have it confirmed as a worthwhile purchase.

I have also convinced her that I need a much larger tank (looking at the osaka 260-beacuse it fits an alcove in my house), so want as much information to hand before I decide what to do with it. thinking Cichlids.

I have a couple of books that i find v. good, but cant think of the names now cos not at home, but will mail ya the names when get home,
but also i find th net sooo good.
input keys words in google, and ya'll get good pics of tanks, in particular some really good landscaped tanks :D

Thanks - i'd appreciate that

Am google ing constantly (could loose my job if my boss knew!), but I'm a sucker for a glossy picture!!
