I have one betta right now whose name is Mr. Silver. He currently lives in a 2.5 gallon bow front next to my bed. So the thing is that I have an empty 10 gallon tank at the end of my bed. It's just been sitting there decorations, pond snails and all and I just feed it ammonia every once in a while to keep it cycled. I thinking about putting Mr. Silver in there just for the sake of it. The problem is i've been thinking about getting some harlequin rasboras for that tank in about 6 months. Could Mr. Silver and the harlequins co-exist in the tank or would I end up having to take him out??

Thanks in advance for any advice/ideas!

It all depends on the personality of your betta really. Mine won't live with anything else he's too aggressive but others might. I'm not sure if harlequins nip but if you keep them in a group the aggression spreads out between them so that should be ok. You could always try it then if itdoesnt work outmove him back to the other tank x
