Where to get the rocks and sand? The rocks, what type and where to get them? The sand, is Toys r Us playsand is good? It's looks very clean, any other alternative that you have heard?

And the second edit question, I have another. Who is the one who knows where to go, for finding the certain cichlids? A good website, dedicated, or maybe even the reptile shows that a many are in my area? Are there likewise aquarium shows?

The filter, too. Where does the filter go, for the one 29 gallon aquarium? The minimal circulation in the lake of Tanganyika shows to people that they will need some quiet, quiet filters so as to not annoy the many fish swimming in the aquarium, making them blow around the aquarium causing stress to them... The good filter is which?

Playsand - lots of places, by law it has to be inert in UK so all should be the same (apart from colour)
Rocks - LFS/Garden centres/Landscapers take your pick. Could also collect from nature but legal issues?

Ah you are lucky, but I will be the one living in the US who doesn't have the law? Playsand from ToysRus is what I heard was safe for other animals, so I can go with that one then. As for rocks the, I will understand now, that the places you listed are commonplace. Thank you, I will in those areas. I will share my experiences for the new ones to come.

I wouldn't think they would advertise and sell possibly dangerous sand for kids to play in, you guys are even better than us at suing people. I'd be confident that play sand is play sand from any reputible store, but I'll let a US member confirm.

Aha, you who speaks the truth. I bet if the child accidentally ate the sand, with the possible dirt or even cleaner, germ killer, they will sure. The even worse is for fish, but since they take those precautions it will not be thought of.

For the others who have read so far, if you could.
