where to get angels

im looking into getting angels, a pair if possible. other than aquabid where could i get them.

also i would have a 20 gallon open for them all to themselfs, and i hope they will breed. how long do i raise the fry before i sell them?

You are looking for a breeding pair or juveniles?

Getting a breeding pair is expensive and there is no guarantee that they will breed for you. Your best bet is getting a group of juvies and raising them up until they pair off. I have juvi sally boggs koi angels available.

i was thinking about getting wholesale juvies, raising them, and selling off all of them except 6. how much are your juvies?

im thinking of building a tall about 2 or 2.5 foot tank for the stand i have. it would work out to be between 35-40 gallons, i havnt took exact measurements yet. how would this do for angels?

The veiltails have much longer tails (obviously). I like the look of regulars better, but that's JMHO.

Oh and BTW, I have both kept and bred my angel pair in a 12 gallon, so it ain't true that you need at least 40 gallons for them. (Of course now they are in my 46 gallon).

angels are best kept in taller tanks than longer tanks. what height are you considering?

I think all angels are extra special. I have a veiltail and 2 regulars. They are all very cute and cool. Sometimes veiltails get nipped by other fish though so you have to really research any other fish you put with them.
