where to find licorice gourami?

never seen one of thses guys in person but i first spotted their picture in the axelrod atlas. been looking for info on them for a few weeks. i basically know that they need extremely acidic soft water and should be kept alone or in pairs. anyone ever owned any of these guys?
liveaquaria has them for $13 each. anyone know where else to get them (for less)?

i have just fallen in love with them...even though ive never actually seen one in person...

Probably the best thing to do is find a good lfs and ask the owner and/or manager to order one in on their next shipment. You can't control what you get exactly but it saves A LOT of money since they have suppliers and get wholesale rates. That's how I get my crowntails and my wilds bellow aquabid prices.
