Where To Find Aquatic Plants?

I'm curious. Where do folks get their aquatic plants from?

The aquarium I'm working on now is a 29-gallon southeast-Asian biotope and I'm having trouble finding appropriate plants for it. Every store under the sun carries sword plants (South American and African) and Lucky Bamboo (African, though not even an aquatic plant at all) but I can't find plants like wisteria, crypt, or vallisneria.

I live in the armpit (central valley) of California. Any suggestions about local or online stores?

These guys look good but then being from the UK I have obviously never used them. You may have more luck posting this in the planted tanks section for an opinion.
