None of the LFs near me seem to be particularly good at labelling their plants, and I can't ID them on the spot.
I was thinking of ordering online, but I wasn't sure where is recommended, (if anywhere)?

If it makes any difference I am thinking of Amazon Sword, Java fern, Java moss, and riccia.... (I think).
This is for a tank with no CO2 system or intention of adding one incase that makes a difference, (although I think that adding these systems just helps to accelerate the growth?)
Or of course if anyone around here has any going spare?.... ;)

Yes adding co2 helps speed up the plant growth. Places where you can buy plants online are:

Aqua essentials - tropica
The green machine - tropica
Plants alive
Java plants

Tropica are considered to be the best company for aquatic plants but they are very expensive compared to others.
Hope this helps.
