Where Is My Red Finned Shark?

Anyone know? he was in there a day ago, but now we can't find him.

We moved all the fish from upstairs 1 & 2 to the 6ft and now we totally can't find him. Where could he possible have gone?

I've rewalked every step of the way to make sure he didn't jump en route, but he's not there. Bermuda triangle fish.

I am so upset, he was such a beautiful creature and now I totally can't find him.

Hi,

If you have an hollow decorations or drift wood in the tank, check inside as he'll no doubt be lodged in a hole somewhere. I once lost a clown loach and didn't see it for a month then it reappeared absolutely fine.

How did you transfer the fish, did you put them in buckets or bags? If you put them in buckets then maybe he jumped out and flopped away somewhere or if you have other pets like a dog or cat they could have eaten it.

ya definatly chech a hoolow piece of decoration b/c wen i boutg my redtail all of them were hiding in a holow pice of wood in the store b/c they were scared of the other sharks taht were biger of tem

Genesis, how you going to find an inch and a half fish in a 6ft tank from a picture? I'm interested....

We moved the fish in milk cartons the big 6 pint kind, with the bottoms cut off, so we could scoop. We walked every carton down ourselves as and when we had caught enough to be moved. We went from our office, down an enclosed set of stairs and into the living room which is directly at the bottom of the stairs. I have rewalked this a dozen times now and still no sad corpse.

I do have a dog, but she is a labbie cross, so had she found anything she knew she wasn't supposed to have, she would have given herself away right away by doing that "head down, wiggling" thing they do when they have got something they know you're going to take off them, like a little toy or a baby sock.

Still no sign of him in the tank....

Sad... I lost mine during the summer. In the morning I found it's corpes behind the rug. Those things jump around a lot?!
