The ordinary one sare a dime a dozen, where to find the ones that you see posing in photos, the thouroughbreds.

Depends where you are? US I would suggest Aquabid if have the cash, otherwise online stores that import or specialise breed. Some locals will do wonderful ones as well, always keep an eye out.

I live in Asia, Pakistan, doubt they have those here, will need to be imported from Thai breeders, too risky a venture.

I havent much experience in this, the more prized ones in England on line range from £15 up to £40 depending how sought after they are. On Aquabid they can go for $20-30 unless there is something really spetacular then a couple of hundred.

So cannot afford those prices, breeders must be minting money.

I have to say I got my poser of a CT for £8 so there are deals to be had it depends what you have access to. I would say most breeders would disagree with you depending on their spawns as it is a lot of work and money to begin with! YOu may get lucky.

oh wow! How delicious are those! There is a good range of prices too, must stop the drooling, they are all gorgeous!

Atison has some nice fish (he's the guy responsible for Atison's Betta Spa and Betta Pro etc, btw). The prices are cheap because they're Thai prices not Western prices (after import fees, shipping and a profit margin etc). For example, my LFS pays the Thai farms about £2.50 (US$5) for the fancy varieties (pineapple CT, SDs etc)... shipping, freight handling, customs, and import licenses all add to the cost though!

For Pakistan, you'd have to ask your local government office about procedure (if there is one) for importing tropical fish. Then email Atison. He's a nice guy and will definitely help you out. :)
