Where Did You Guys Get Your Betta's From?

Hey i am looking for a nice betta,
Any tail but one with the same colour all the way through preferbly red or white.
Tank i noticed a completely red one in your avatar where did you get this?
And where did you guys get yours?

I got all mine from pet stores and lucked out with some bettas with awesome colors. I have one betta that has a blue body but pink fins!

Two I adopted from someone on this forum and 1 (a double tail plakat) I very luckily found at an LFS in San Francisco. I really like getting babies from people on the forum. It's fun, you can see who the parents are, and sometimes people are giving away really pretty fish. There's also aquabid, but that's not within my price range

Is there any lfs near to you? I asked in mine yesterday and they are requesting one with their next lot of fish reserving it and phoning me! Never thought of doing that before!
