I went to my LFS and they said they dont have any but just to make sure I looked around the plant section to see if there were any in the sand or w/e

anyways iv found 2 snails that were climbing the glass. they had spiral cone shells but i heard they were only about 3/4'' and that they were nocturnal but there were like 1inch

since they were pretty big and they werent in the sand i figured they might not be malaysian trumpet snails
so i left

anyways should i still get them?

if they are not malaysian trumpet snails do you kno any online store where i can get them?

even better if you live in New York queens area

I would be happy to buy them off you

If they have cone shells, they're probably malaysian trumpet snails... if you have a petsmart, and they have them in their plants, they will probably give you them for free.. that's where I got mine.

It's something of a misnomer they only stay in the sand/come out during the night. Mine are out day and night and some are quite big though I think those tend to stay hidden in the sand, you'll usually see smaller ones out and about.

I got mine for free from a local place, along with some pond snails and now both have done a good job at reproducing. Started with around a dozen, now there are probably a 100 or more.

i've got about a billion of them, if you were in the UK I'd just send you some

my lfs has tonnes, i just dont want them, they look disgusting, and theres loads of dead ones at the bottom.

i got mine free from a LFS ask around a few more lfs plenty have them in as they keep the substrate clean.

Or they usual go on ebay for very little

ok.. sorry.. u live in New York

will your lfs not offer 2 order them in?

yea i guess i could go to another LFS but they are assholes and are terrible w/ the fish...i rather not go there

i suppose i could get my usual LFS to order some for me
