Where Are There Black Spots On My Fishes Head?

Two weeks ago I found out that my syclid's for head's skin color is turing kinda brown. I thought that he was growing and it was no problem. This week his head started to show brown dots everywhere. Why is his heads skin color changing?

What kind of cichlid is it?
Can you post a pic?
Are there any other symptoms?
How big are the spots?
What tankmates do you have with him?

I don't know too much about cichlids at the moment but the answers to these questions should help someone who does with figuring out your problem.
