where are the babies?

i got a friend into fishkeeping and now he has two guppies, a male and a female. the female has always been a little on the larger size but for the last several months she's gotten really fat.
is she pregnant? you'd think the babies would have come already. is there anything to make this happen or are they just not interested in each other?

Well I can almost positively say she is preggers i would say if he has the room 2 males and 3-5 females would be good for alot of babies

Yes you cant control gestation sorry ..................it can be anywhere from 3 weeks to 3-4 months and if she takes that long this time she will hopefully have alot of healthy fry but he needs more females b/c this one will probably take just as long eash time
